Pawfait: DIY Yogurt Parfait For Your Dog

Yogurt parfaits are a breakfast staple in my house! These delicious treats can be dog friendly! So why not make your pup their own Pawfait? Here is a step by step guide on how to make your dog their very own Doggie Yogurt Pawfait.

Prep Work

Collect all kitchen utensils and ingredients for the pawfait.

Utensils and Ingredients

Kitchen Utensils

  • Cutting board
  • Mason jar
  • Spoon
  • Ziplock bags
  • Meat pounder
  • Bowl

Pawfait Ingredients

  • Yogurt, plain
  • Blueberries
  • Training dog treats, crunchy (2)
  • Training dog treats, soft chews

Clean off a flat surface to work on.

Wash your hands.

Set up a dog bed for your pup to watch you work from!

Watching the pawfait

Assembling The Pawfait

Making Doggie Granola

Take a small amount of the crunchy training treats and place them into a ziplock baggie.

Using a meat pounder, crush the training treats, making them smaller pieces. Try not to crush them too much.

Collect your other crunchy training treats and training soft chews.

Combine all crushed training treats, crunchy training treats, and soft chews in a bowl.

First Layer

In a mason jar, fill the bottom of the jar with yogurt. Do not fill more than an inch.

Second Layer

Place enough blueberries on top of the yogurt layer to cover.

Third Layer

Add more yogurt. There should be about an inch thick of yogurt.

Fourth Layer

Place enough granola mixture on top of the yogurt layer to cover.

Fifth Layer

Add more yogurt. There should be about an inch thick of yogurt.

Sixth Layer

Top with a mixture of blueberries and granola.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Training dog treats, crunchy
  • 1/4 cup Training dog treats, soft chews

Instructions

  • Take a small amount of the crunchy training dog treats and place them into a ziploack bag.
  • Using a meat pounder, crush the crunchy training dog treats, making them smaller pieces. Do not crush them too much.
  • Collect your other crunchy training dog treats and soft chew training dog treats.
  • Combine all crushed training dog treats, crunchy training dog treats, and soft chew training dog treats in a bowl.
  • Set aside.
  • In a mason jar, fill the bottom of the jar with yogurt about an inch high.
  • Place enough blueberries on top of the yogurt layer to cover.
  • Add another layer of yogurt, about one inch thick.
  • Place enough of the dog treat granola mixture on top of yogurt layer to cover.
  • Add another layer of yogurt, about one inch thick.
  • Top with rest of blueberries anddog treat granola.
